Brett Williams

Brett started practicing over yoga five years ago in San Francisco, California. She completed teacher trainings at It’s Yoga San Francisco and at the Mt. Madonna Center in Watsonville, CA. She then completed Mt. Madonna’s yoga service program both levels I & II which led her to India where she further studied yoga and Buddhism. In addition to her practice with us, she also leads classes at Yoga Source. Brett is a Licensed Massage Therapist serving clients in a range of different techniques. She joined our staff in July 2007.

Brett’s Pitta+Vata practice
On Sundays Brett incorporates her experience with Ashtanga Yoga, a vigorous yoga practice which utilizes Surya Namaskar or sun salutations to link poses together, into a Hot Yoga session. Expect several rounds of sun salutes and varying asanas in between.

Brett’s Kapha practice
It is with ease and effortlessness that Brett leads her Kapha classes. Truly encouraging the connection of body with breath, you’ll find her gentle demeanor calms your spirit allowing you to glide easily through your practice. A delicious restorative experience and quintessence of a Sunday ritual.

Brett’s Pitta practice
Adding the element of heat by itself creates a dynamic practice. However, Brett’s tranquil nature balances the robust Pitta or fire energy. A great way to get your day started and refresh mid-week!
