Meet the gang...
Dani Crisafulli
Danielle Crisafulli has spent the majority of her career in and out of recording studios, working in the high-stress fast-paced environment of the music industry. Yet, the demands of her job and the intensity of her projects soon took their toll on her body. In 1998 Danielle’s struggle with asthma had become so severe that her acupuncturist recommended that she add a regular yoga practice to assist her healing. Upon taking her first class she knew immediately that the benefits would be outstanding and that yoga would now play an important role as part of her daily lifestyle. Nine years later-- completely asthma free-- while practicing yoga with a musician friend, Danielle decided to incorporate her passion for the music industry and yoga into one.  Thus, after 10 years of managing world renowned audio engineers at one of the top music studios in New York City, she chose to follow her yoga path and graduated with a 500 hour yoga teacher certification from YogaWorks, NYC. While there she concentrated her studies around Iyengar, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Ishta and Hatha Yoga. Her teaching style culminates the best of each practice cultivating safe, sensible thematic sequencing with the use of asana, hands-on adjustments, modification of postures and props.

Systematically breaking down each pose and utilizing props to find the pose that is most suitable for each individual each student will gain a true understanding of asana as well as find ways to recover from new and old injuries.

Dani’s Back to Basics series
Through her disciplined education and thorough teaching style, Dani is a natural when it comes to breaking down poses to the essentials. In this cohesive series she will present yoga’s most popular asanas in a workshop-type setting with straightforward instruction and light discussion encouraging students to ask questions in order to gain a better understanding of particular poses. Topics covered include standing poses, balance, hip openers, twists, back bending poses and restorative yoga. More on the Back to Basics series here...
