Meet the gang... Julia Rix  Julia Rix is a Registered Yoga Teacher and Licensed Massage Therapist.  She has studied and practiced Yoga and the elements of healing arts for 15 years.  In 2001, she began practicing Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga and maintained an on again off again relationship until completing a 200 hour teacher training in 2008.  Her teacher training had a strong Iyengar and Restorative influence and this is reflected in her teaching.  She is certified in Pre and Peri-natal Yoga as well as Thai Yoga Massage.  Julia is part of the faculty at Tennessee State University  where she teaches Beginning Yoga and continues to study various modalities within the healing arts.  She is currently working towards a 500 hour registration with Yoga Alliance.  When not teaching, studying or practicing massage and yoga, she can be found playing with her dog Tennessee or following her husband, musician, Jano Rix, on the road.
