Leah Lillios King, owner

Leah, a trained modern dancer, has been practicing yoga for almost two decades. With concentrations in Dharma Vinyasa, Restorative and Barkan Method Hot Yoga, Leah became a Certified Instructor, Registered Yoga Teacher and Advanced Level II Instructor through Jimmy Barkan's Yoga College Of India in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in 2004. Later, she completed an additional 500-hours of Hatha Yoga training under Sri Dharma Mittra at the Dharma Yoga Center in NYC. Upon moving to Nashville in 2001, Leah taught for four years at local studios in addition to the American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge and at various business and organizations around town before opening Kali Yuga Yoga in May of 2007.

In addition to leading classes workshops and the teacher training programs at Kali Yuga Yoga, Leah expands her practice within the community through classes at local businesses, lectures at nearby universities and clubs and through workshops at related spirit & wellness festivals. Outside the studio she enjoys belly dancing, hiking, knitting, running, gardening, rollerblading and figure skating. She and her husband reside on a small farm outside of Nashville with their little budding yogis, Helen and Pax.
