The Healing Art Yoga Therapy for Tired & Aching Bodies  Sunday, November 2 11:30AM-1 PM Donation Only!! As the popularity of yoga has grown, many people wrongly assume that yoga is solely for the most flexible or athletic among us. The truth is simple- Yoga is for everyone! Many studies have shown that practicing yoga can help ease symptoms of many common ailments such as:  back pain asthma poor circulation carpal tunnel syndrome plantar fasciitis arthritis and joint pain constipation indigestion sciatic pain heart disease rheumatism high blood pressure migraines and more... Bottom Line: yoga eases stress and relieves tension. Because of this, it is the perfect vehicle for gaining mobility. In this workshop, we will discuss modifications and adjustments a yogi can make to various postures so that they, whatever their level of practice may be, can reap the benefits of the asana. In addition, we will also discuss ways to practice safely when recovering from an injury. Everyone is welcome, regardless of age or level of fitness!!  About the Instructor:  Karen Hogg has been teaching yoga since 2001. Trained at Integral Yoga in New York City, she believes yoga is a great tool for healing and relaxation. In addition, as multi-instrumentalist, Karen writes articles about the benefits of yoga for musicians.
