A self-care workshop

Spring clean the Mind, Body and Soul in this workshop centered around self-care detoxing using the breath, body, and meditation!! Ashley will take you through a series of breathing techniques combined with both a slow heated flow and restorative poses enhanced with essential oils to release tension, stress, anxiety and create space for the things ahead.	

Detoxify the Mind, Body and Soul
Detox the Mind: We will use our breath as cleansing tool. Ashley will guide you through an intense set of breathing exercises or pranayama to boost clarity of thought and rid the mind of negative samskaras. 	Also, we will incorporate gentle forward folds to calm and soothe the mind space.

Detox The Body: The asana practice will be a slightly heated flow working the core through twisting to release tension in the body and improve digestive system. Expect plenty of forward folds to massage abdominal organs, to stretch and strengthen the spine, to bring balance into the nervous system and to regulate digestion, menstruation plus body temperature. As an added bonus there will be specific poses that stimulate blood and lymph flow which will enhance detoxification by carrying new blood to the liver and kidneys.

Detox the Soul: Our focus will be to let go of negativity in the habits that do not serve us. We will create space in our spirit self  with meditation to restore our goal to reach our fullest potential and serve the highest good.

>>> All students are encouraged to bring a towel, ice water with lemon and wear comfortable, form fitting clothes that are appropriate for sweating.
