Lose your inhibitions with this wildly popular new wellness practice. Embodying the word yoga, world fusion unifies dance-based motion across cultures into a dynamic, vigorous physical practice. What is World Fusion? World Fusion is a vibrant and inspired dance fitness class... Fuse mind/body/spirit awareness with powerful music and unique choreography, and you have a whole new bodily experience!! Movements stem from various dance forms including African dance, Hip-Hop, Modern Dance, Salsa and more. Choreographed to primarily world music, the class is compacted into a one-hour, moderately high-energy workout. No dance experience is necessary, as students are taught movements from their core; then shown how to gradually add layers to connect with their own dynamic expression. So come join us and see how World Fusion can tone your body, increase stamina, and give you a whole new repertoire of moves for the dance floor!     World Fusion Dance Instructor Sarah Kelton Sarah's dance path began at Naropa University, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Music and Dance/Movement Studies.  A passionate exploration of movement traditions ensued, involving West African and Haitian dance, Hip-Hop, Salsa, Ballroom and Swing dance, plus various Martial Arts and Yoga forms. Sarah completed her choreography training in the spring of 2007 in Boulder, CO.  Now relocated to Nashville, Sarah teaches her World Fusion dance class through Fun Company's "Art Embrace"; a program that "focuses on developing self-esteem and creativity in our youth using art as the main conduit."  World Fusion is now expanding to various dance and yoga studios throughout the city.
